As a dancer and performer I am known for my powerful physique and dynamic versatility in dance styles. I pick up choreography quickly and have a calm creative energy in a rehearsal room. I’ve built meaningful relationships with choreographers over the years and as a result I’ve stepped into roles such as rehearsal director/dance captain and movement director. I’m passionate about working in the community with groups who don’t always have easy access to the arts, I’ve worked with women within the criminal justice system, survivors of modern slavery and trafficking and those with lived experience of homelessness.
As well as performing I have years of experience as a teacher, in professional colleges and conservatoires as well as in the local community. I am also a qualified personal trainer. I believe working with both movement professionals and total beginners has taught me how best to create a safe space and allow each individual to flourish under my direction.
